shakti the goddess
shakti is mainly worshiped in south india and she is regarded by the rural people that Shakti is the portector of the village, the curer of deaseses and almsot the one who does everything therefore they celebrate the shakti jatar. seems like its mainly and widley worhsipped in villages where a new system within the hindu faith developed called Shaktism in which people regarde her as the one with out a second unlike the rest of the dieties.

ReplyDeleteI did not know that Shakti was the curer of diseases. She does almost everything that has to do with there religion. they worship her because she is the source of everything they do.
