what is amazing about this story is that the author with mastrey shows the mixed feelings the wife goes through during one hour as if she went through this herself. What makes it more wonderfull is that Kate Chopin unlike all the women during the victorian era was liberated and still was able to describe this amount of hard and joyfull feelings with such mastery as she was able to make the reader conveniently inferr that the wife was opressed and maltreated.
